It has a hidden gem feel, allowing for a calm and leisurely time. Initially, there are several small plates arranged, featuring carefully flavored dishes such as grated cod roe, mekabu (seaweed), and simmered oysters. The sashimi selection includes bluefin tuna, amberjack, live octopus, marinated mackerel, and grouper, all of which are fresh and delightful. There are also various grilled and fried dishes that pair very well with sake and shochu. The seasonal dishes using mushrooms, returning bonito, chestnuts, and persimmons are interesting, and I was excited by the dobin mushi (teapot steamed dish) and the creatively crafted snacks. The restaurant is non-smoking with clean air, and conversations with the staff are pleasant, making it a comfortable place to eat and drink.
