This bottled tea is made using the highest quality tea leaves that won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award. It features Kakegawa's 'Deep Steamed Tea,' which holds the record for the most awards at the National Tea Competition in Japan, with a total of 24 wins. Deep steamed tea is characterized by its deep flavor, achieved by steaming the leaves 2 to 3 times longer than regular sencha, which suppresses the typical grassy and astringent notes while enhancing sweetness and richness. For those who want to savor a sip, we also offer glass sales.
Matcha is a rare product that is made from tea leaves before they are ground into matcha using a stone mill, and it is hardly available on the market. This bottle captures the true charm of authentic Uji tea, with a pale yellow shimmer, a roasted aroma reminiscent of gyokuro, and a wonderfully balanced mild sweetness. It is also available for sale in glasses.
