Located near Daikanyama Station, as you go up the stairs, you are welcomed by a spacious table and counter. Despite being a luxurious and slightly moody space, the conversations with the staff are casual and comfortable. The course features a variety of dishes centered around black-haired wagyu beef, directly shipped from a family home in Kagoshima, presented in a lively tempo. The appetizers, such as fava bean mousse and crispy beef tendon Caesar salad, had a fresh and exciting combination of ingredients. The main steak stood out with its fragrant sear and juiciness, making it delicious enough to leave one speechless. I felt that this restaurant, with its open teppanyaki and engaging conversations, would bring smiles to meat lovers and anyone else alike.

[HATSUSHI GYU] HATSUSHI GYU: 7 courses of Kagoshima Black Wagyu Beef, the best in Japan

Kagoshima Black Beef has won Japan's largest beef competition (Wagyu Olympics, held once every five years) for two consecutive years. The "Hatsushigyu" is the most particular of the lotus calves. We feed them lactic acid bacteria to keep them in good health, and play Mozart music in the barn to support them under stress to the maximum extent possible. The taste of such lotus root beef is truly unique. Hasuko Beef is served with the best ingredients of the day in a variety of cooking methods.
