This restaurant is so famous that it represents Yotsuya. His predecessor, Keiji Nakazawa, was one of Japan's top-class sushi chefs who developed a number of innovative styles while continuing the tradition of Edo-mae sushi. Keiji Nakazawa was succeeded by Keita Katsumata, the second generation. Although still in his 30s, Katsumata is a chic sushi chef who, like Nakazawa, uses stylish techniques.

[Tokyo Yotsuya] A famous restaurant known for Edomae sushi that everyone knows. The style of the sushi master series is "nigiri and appetizers served alternately." This was my first visit to the precious seat in front of Chef Katsumata. ★ 1-11 Yotsuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo, 1F Yorin-do Building ★ 40,000 to 50,000 yen per person Appetizers ◇ Seaweed, sea grapes ◇ Clam chawanmushi ◇ (forgotten) ◇ Boiled octopus ◇ Nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) ◇ Oyster ◇ Fugu (pufferfish) ◇ Ice cream: chose salt and strawberry. Nigiri ◇ Flounder ◇ Baby sea bream ◇ Small horse mackerel ◇ Marinated red meat ◇ Squid ◇ Sea urchin ◇ Kawai (butterfish) ◇ Chutoro (medium fatty tuna) ◇ Sweet shrimp ◇ Additional: Mackerel sushi ◇ Additional: Horse mackerel ◇ Additional: Monkfish liver ◇ Additional: Ohagi (sweet rice ball) As soon as I sat down, I was drawn in by Chef Katsumata's friendly service. I had imagined a more tense and sharp atmosphere, so it was surprisingly comfortable, and in a good way, it exceeded my expectations. Moreover, from the very first piece of nigiri, I was captivated, and I couldn't help but let out exclamations of delight at the deliciousness. The careful creativity, such as changing the rice for each topping, is directly reflected in the taste. The variety of additional toppings is abundant, and I was extremely, extremely satisfied. Looking forward to the next visit, thank you for the meal.

Sushi Takumi-san É I'm so happy to be able to go to this restaurant! I'm so happy~ ❤︎ The owners were all humorous and comfortable. We started with snacks! It was delicious and went well with sake. Nigiri started with seasonal cherry salmon! Wow delicious ❤︎ I love how the rice changes depending on the nigiri! I had more rolls than I liked, so I was quite full! I'm glad I can choose what I like (..._...) Even the mugwort ice cream for dessert was too good! I also asked for a futomaki as a souvenir. I was so happy that I could enjoy it the next day too. I am looking forward to visiting there again.

I add more o-hagi 🥰🍣💕 every time I go 💓I love it with all my heart! I love Keita-san who always understands my taste and pace 👶✨. The monkfish liver and pickled water melon was a roll 😉🍉 as the monkfish liver seems to be weak right now. Delicious enough for 10 more 🤤. I'm glad I added the kasugo because it's my favorite too✨ Lastly, 3 kinds of ice cream 🍨. Brown sugar kinako, salt, and anno sweet potato 🍨. I forgot to take a picture of only the Anno sweet potato 📸 lol Thank you for the food 👼! Sushi is just right to visit every season💓🍣. Next time in December ❄️

The other day was my first time at Sushi Takumi. There was an affiliate, but this was my first time at the main restaurant. The style of the restaurant is to serve sushi and snacks alternately. It had been a long time since I had eaten there. I felt like I hadn't had sushi in a long time. The tuna toro zuke was superb 😂. But this time, it was served with kyoto flavor in the morning, so my stomach was a bit bloated. I was so hungry 😂😂. I was disappointed that I couldn't eat an liver, which is the representative of the restaurant, ⭐️Aji8- I don't know this time because I didn't eat an liver. I think they were very good to newcomers. ⭐️ service 9- I think they were very good to newcomers. ⭐️Atmosphere9- Friendly and friendly, sometimes they come in to the conversation. It was the best I could do. ⭐️COSPA8 I think it was about 30,000, ⭐️Direction7 Nothing special.

[Sushi Takumi] As it was getting hot, we started with surinagashi, and then had four kinds of sushi: tamai, nebokke, ikameshi, and torigai (a small fish). From there, nigiri and tsumami were served in an easy-to-eat tempo and order, giving us a pleasant feeling of fullness. The highlight of the day was the Sashima sea cucumber. The octopus was so tender that it had been thoroughly rubbed with grated daikon radish (a very strong massage). The nigiri is probably kasago (yellowtail). Aged red meat? To add to the nigiri, we had ohagi (rice balls) and aged tetsubi rolls! After the ice cream, of which we were allowed to choose any number of six kinds, we finished off the meal with TIRPSE's Fujiyama Canulé meets Sushi Takumi. We were allowed to do as much as we wanted, and we were very grateful for it. Thank you, Maiko-san, for inviting us to this precious occasion:) Let's make this year the year of sushi and Japanese food.

The price includes sake, so it is more reasonably priced than today's sushi restaurants. They said that the next reservation will be in November, but the reason is that they do not take reservations during the Olympic period. Therefore, they said they would open it up if they do, but we'll see what happens.

[Sushi Takumi] On Meat Day, we went to Sushi Takumi after Shimizu. The first half of the meal was full of dishes I had never had at Sushi Takumi before. Ichigo nimono, mazoi, and white fish gunkan. The cold weather warmed our stomachs with the Ichigo nimono, and then the snacks were served, leading up to the White Fish Gunkan. After that, the steamed nodoguro tuna with turnip was served with excellent timing. Additional hamaguri in dashi broth and sunazuri, a perfect choice for me! There were so many shellfish that I wanted to eat a little more, but I consulted my stomach and called it a day. Meat and sushi on a meat day. It's a happy day 😀.

We ate and drank more when we visited last year, which was 38,000 yen per person. (Champagne is also about 5,000 yen). Maybe one glass of sake as well. Even for a non-alcoholic person, the price was about 33,000 yen. It used to be about 30,000 yen for drinking, which was a good price point, but the prices are getting closer and closer to the price range of other restaurants. The next reservation will be made in November.
