Wara (straw) has a very strong heat, reaching combustion temperatures of about a thousand degrees, allowing for the surface of the katsuo (bonito) to be grilled evenly and instantly. The smoke and aroma of the straw further enhance the flavor. Myojinmaru's wara-grilled salt tataki is committed to 'yaki-kiri' (grilling to order), starting the grilling process only after the order is placed. *Please note that since the tataki is grilled after the order is placed, it may take a little time.

We have made the sweet potato tempura, a specialty of the Sunday market, into easy-to-eat sticks. The Tosa Aozora Market Sunday Market in Kochi has a history of over 300 years and serves as a kitchen for the citizens. Held every Sunday, it features ingredients and goods brought from various regions within the prefecture, including food items, metal goods, and knives.
For an additional 165 yen, you can have Tosa Jiro eggs and simmered bonito. *It will take about 30 to 40 minutes until it's ready.
We made a kamameshi using the famous katsuo rice from Tosa. The flavor of the katsuo when it's cooked, along with the aroma of the ingredients that have absorbed it, is irresistible. [For the finish] it's also great to pour our special dashi over it and enjoy it as ochazuke. *Please allow 30 to 40 minutes for cooking.
