Today, I visited "Wakuta" in Ginza and thoroughly enjoyed a course of authentic Japanese cuisine that made abundant use of seasonal ingredients! The spacious private room seems perfect for business meetings! In this calming space, we started with a toast over beer! From the appetizer of Kamo eggplant, sweet shrimp, and summer vegetable jelly, the quality of the day was already evident! The melting Kamo eggplant combined with the cold jelly spread the coolness and umami of summer in my mouth; it was a dish that captured my heart from the very first bite! I enjoyed even the Kamo eggplant served as a substitute for the soup! The assorted dishes featured beautifully arranged items like eel sushi, fried conger eel with chili, and fried octopus, offering a luxurious time where each bite presented a different world! The conger eel was especially delicious! I had more conger eel afterward, and it was the best! The highlight was the "Conger Eel and Matsutake Mushroom Soup." The summer conger eel and autumn-scented matsutake coexisted in the same bowl, truly evoking the boundary of the seasons. The clarity of the broth and the presence of each ingredient were in exquisite balance, and I couldn't help but hold the bowl with both hands and drink every last drop!!! The sashimi of "Conger Eel" and "Sea Bream" was also very delicious, and the refreshing momiji oroshi (grated daikon with chili) paired well! The grilled dish, "Suzuki no Rikyu-yaki," was a deeply flavorful plate with a refined aroma of sesame! The strong dish, "Duck, Winter Melon, and Donko Mushroom Hot Pot," had the umami of each ingredient melded together in the broth, creating an explosion of flavor! The richness of the duck fat matched perfectly! The finale, "Sea Bream, Manganji Pepper, and Corn Takikomi Rice," was a fragrant bowl cooked in a clay pot! It looked summery and beautiful, making it the perfect ending! The dessert of watermelon, shine muscat, peach compote, and plum jelly with coconut milk was a happy conclusion, with the freshness of summer fruits lingering long after! Each dish was imbued with respect for the seasons and meticulous craftsmanship, making it a moving course worthy of a famous restaurant in Ginza. It is a place I want to visit again for a special night and cherish. Thank you for the meal!

Just a short walk from Shimbashi Station, I had a meal at a restaurant located in a quiet alley in Ginza. I was grateful that all seats were private rooms, allowing us to relax without worrying about our surroundings. Starting with a visually fresh appetizer of eggplant, the clear soup with sliced conger eel had a refined aroma of dashi and matsutake mushrooms, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship unique to Japanese cuisine throughout the course. The sea urchin sashimi was apparently the last of the season that day, and it's always a pleasure to encounter such seasonal ingredients. From the eight delicacies to the signature clay pot rice, the menu allowed us to savor the changing seasons with each dish, and I was very satisfied. I believe this space is perfect not only for business meetings but also for family anniversaries and important gatherings. I would like to visit again.

A course perfect for business meetings, dining, and family gatherings, featuring the restaurant's famous clay pot rice. ✱Impressions✱ I used the restaurant "Ginza Wakuta" located on the 5th floor of a building in Corridor Street, just a 3-minute walk from Shimbashi Station. The moment I took a bite of the first dish, the steamed egg with crab, I knew, "Ah, this is a proper restaurant." There was not a single dish that missed the mark from that point on. In particular, the soup with eel and somen noodles had a clear broth that was truly delicious! When the seven-item platter was served, we all took photos together, and the aroma that wafted from the clay pot rice when the lid was opened made me so happy. All seats are completely private, allowing for conversation without worry, and the service is attentive. As someone choosing a restaurant for a business meeting, this sense of security is quite significant. I was surprised to see the ratings on Tabelog after returning home. I have come across the best Japanese restaurant in Ginza. This place is truly the essence of Japanese cuisine in Ginza. The other day, I used 'Ginza Wakuta' for a dinner with friends. The location is outstanding. It is a 3-minute walk from Ginza Station, and from a distance, you can see the National Diet Building and the Shinkansen passing by, which really lifted my spirits. The interior has private rooms for all seats, creating a very calm atmosphere. It was so quiet that I couldn't even hear the hustle and bustle of the Ginza area. (The restaurant is on the 5th floor) The dishes are all exquisite, showing that the chef carefully prepares seasonal ingredients. Personally, I think the 'Chilled Eggplant Jelly', 'Pike Conger and Matsutake Mushroom Soup', and 'Soft-Shelled Turtle Soup' are dishes I definitely want to eat again before I die. (I apologize if there are any discrepancies in the dish names or ingredients) This time, I used it for a dinner gathering, but it is also perfect for a loved one's birthday or anniversary. I can drink alcohol, but the food is so delicious that the sake runs out quickly, so please be careful not to drink too much. I strongly feel that I want to visit this restaurant again. You should definitely check it out.

I used the Japanese restaurant 'Ginza Wakuta' for a business meeting with my boss. The building faces Corridor Street, so the access is excellent! As soon as I got off the elevator on the 5th floor, I was welcomed by a staff member in a kimono and guided to a private room. There were also fans used by maiko, and the interior gave a sense of comfort, but it did not disappoint my expectations; every dish that came out was elegant and of a high level with attention to detail! Starting with a crab and summer vegetable steamed dish as an appetizer, the eight delicacies included only high-quality ingredients like eel, sweet shrimp, and wagyu, which really raised my spirits! All the ingredients were wonderful, and with the dashi and seasonings that enhanced those ingredients, I could enjoy a lovely Japanese cuisine that reflects the beautiful culture of Japan. The plates, presentation, and the aroma of yuzu when opening the soup were all part of a course that could be enjoyed with all five senses. The grilled sweetfish, duck and water eggplant hot pot, and the sweetfish and Manji pepper rice cooked in a clay pot made me feel that there are many Japanese dishes that seem few, but this was a course that left me very satisfied. There was also a wide variety of sake and wine, and I had sake, all of which had a crisp lineup that paired well with Japanese food! Since it was a private room, I was worried about the speed of serving drinks and course dishes, but everything was perfect and impressive! This attentive service and the course that allows you to enjoy Japan's proud cuisine is a recommended restaurant that you can confidently use for special occasions like business dinners, meetings, or wedding introductions. It is not a level I can use for everyday occasions (laughs), but I will definitely visit again for important days that cannot be missed!
