This shop, located between Ginza and Shimbashi, features a calm wooden counter that is very high quality. The head chef has honed his skills in places like Niigata and Kyoto, and you can enjoy dishes that add originality to traditional Japanese cuisine. Each plate, including the jelly made with seasonal vegetables and the stone-grilled sweet shrimp, highlighted the quality of the ingredients. In particular, the corn rice cooked in a clay pot at the end was richly aromatic and delicious, feeling like the best I've ever had. The Japanese sweets served after the meal and the matcha prepared right in front of you brought a sense of calm to my heart. With attentive service and a comfortable atmosphere, this is a wonderful place to leisurely savor the seasons of Japan.
