Located in Azabu Juban, "Fukuda" is a heartwarming Japanese restaurant run by a husband and wife team. The craftsmanship displayed right before your eyes enhances the flavors of the ingredients, featuring fragrant dashi made from katsuobushi and rice cooked in a clay pot. Fukuda" is an up-and-coming, talented restaurant that has received a Michelin star within one year of opening. The restaurant is run by a young couple, who limit the number of customers to no more than two per day because they say they can't keep an eye on everyone. The cozy and elegant space, beautiful dishes, and cuisine will make you spend a blissful time. The sake is also carefully selected. We are asked not to post the names or photos of some of the hard-to-find brands, so we hope you will visit and try them. The food is prepared with a playful spirit, without losing the basic principles of the restaurant's 11 years of experience in Kyoto's ryotei restaurants and hotels, and you can watch the cooking process at the counter right in front of you. The beautiful knife work, the soup stock, and the coloring. I was particularly impressed with the tiger puffer fish mijo, which is accented with a light red bean paste and tangy ginger. Appetizer. And the nodoguro sashimi is kombusame & pleasantly smoked with three different flavors that intertwine and leave a deep lingering taste. The rice with ice fish in an earthenware pot as a finish is also excellent. The seri (Japanese parsley) quietly makes its presence felt. Only the ￥12,000 course is more satisfying and luxurious than the price. This is a great restaurant to visit every season with a small group of your loved ones to savor the cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fukuda-san is as delicious as ever. Today's winner was kingfish sashimi The runner-up was nodoguro sashimi! The fat was not at all cloying and refreshing, but the taste itself was rich and very good. I had to have another bowl of takikomi-gohan (rice cooked with sea bream), which was very hard for me as I am on a carbohydrate restriction. It was so good that I ate three bowls of it. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, I will live on leaves and chicken.

Our first restaurant outing of 2020 will be to this restaurant. Why are shrimp potatoes so delicious? I also love the sanbokan jelly that comes out this time of year. I love this restaurant. I will be going there a lot this year!

I went to Fukuda, ... 1 Michelin star ⭐️ I imagine there were many wild vegetables in season this time of year 🙂. The restaurant was very nice 😮 . These scallions and bamboo shoots were badass 😢.

I love bachiko❤ I also love the fried bean tempura next to it 😂♡♡ Lastly, rice cooked with clams and bamboo shoots 💖. Clam rice is the best 💕💕 I really like the way the rice feels 😍 delicious 😍❤️❤️
