We use tofu from Saga Tofu "Morika" in Arashiyama, Kyoto. We serve not only Yudofu, but also Yuba (bean curd) with Sashimi or Ankake (starchy sauce). The various flavors and textures of the beans tickle the senses. Please enjoy the exquisite yudofu to your heart's content, along with a kaiseki dinner that lets you experience the changing seasons in the ancient capital.

I was able to eat various types of yuba, and they were all delicious and the best.
Despite being busy, the timing of the dishes being served was perfect, which was very surprising.
I didn't feel like I was being watched much, and I thought, as expected of a professional.
Mein Freund und ich hatten ein 7-Gänge-Menü, das sowohl interessant als auch köstlich war. Wir saßen in einem Raum, der auf einen kleinen, beruhigenden Garten blickte. Der Service war wunderbar, mit Erklärungen der Gänge, die mündlich oder schriftlich auf Englisch bereitgestellt wurden. Das einzige Problem war, das Restaurant zu finden. Wir benutzten Google Maps, das uns zu einer Reihe von Restaurants um die Ecke von Kyoto Gion Uemori führte. Ich sprach mit einem sehr hilfsbereiten Herren im nahegelegenen Agnes B Café, der uns freundlicherweise um die Ecke zum richtigen Standort führte.
We were expected, greeted warmly at the door, and sat at the counter. I wish I could attach pictures, as this eight-course kayseki was one of the most beautiful and tasteful meals I've had in my life. The chef was enjoyable to watch, as well - a master at work.
Gion Uemori exceeded our expectations. Great service, everyone working there was very friendly. The food was so fresh and delicious. This was definitely a unique experience, 10/10.
The tofu set I had is totally not worth the price. No skills at all just tofu with some sauce literally no cooking involved. If you have never had tofu perhaps you can try. But if you have had it and am not a crazy fan of this food, don’t waste your money on it.

우리나라처럼 콩이 많은 완벽한 손두부를 맛 볼 수는 없었어요.
두부는 건강식이라 좋지만, 다른 소스들은 건강식이어도 맛은 있어야하는데.
특별히 맛있는 것은 없었습니다.
예약해서 일부러 찾아갔는데 아쉬웠어요.
한국인의 입맛에는 맞지않은 듯 합니다.
