It is a popular restaurant, but the arrangements are too bad! The day before we went to Tokyo, I was rummaging through my mother's notes and found this one! Whenever she sees something that looks good on TV or in a magazine, she makes a note of it! The croissant rusk mentioned in the note was left in a corner of my mind! Then my friend told me that they are very popular in Tokyo! She told me! I heard that they have been very popular since the beginning of the year, when they were featured on TV programs such as "Sumastei" and "Hanamaru"! The main store is located in Akita Prefecture, and Ginza Mitsukoshi is the only branch. The croissant rusks sell at least 1,000 a day and are sold out by midday! If you say so, you must be tempted to go! We arrived 15 minutes before Mitsukoshi opened. At this point, there are 14,5 people in line. I'm a little nervous about entering a department store before it opens! While waiting in line, pamphlets are being handed out. There are always about 10 kinds of brochures available. Of course, you can buy from 1 piece, and then there are 3, 5, 10, and so on! First of all, how do you think the taste is? I've seen croissant rusks in bakeries and such. So I don't think it's that new. The decorations are cute, but the price is also high. One piece costs about 300 yen, three pieces cost 970 yen, and five pieces cost 1,510 yen. After the department store opened, the line grew even longer and there were about 30 people in line behind me! However, the line was not going fast enough. And that's just as well! Despite such a long line, you can buy single items, and there is no limit to the number of items you can buy! Some people were buying as many as 50 pieces, and it was taking a long time! There should be a limit on the number of items so that everyone can get their hands on them! I think they should stop selling single items since there are so many people lined up! Delivery is available, but it is taking too much time! First of all, it would be smoother if you could write down your shipping address while you are in line! There are about 5 clerks, but they don't work well together and are not very efficient! For example, a box of 5 assorted items. The contents of the box are already decided, but they are packed after receiving the order! Why can't they be ready before the store opens? It's a product that sells every day, and it's not a fresh cake, so they should be able to do it! These things take time and make customers wait! It would be different if there was one person in charge. I wish they would improve a little, since customers are spending their precious time waiting in line! I have never seen such a bad set-up in a restaurant with such a long line! I don't blame them if they became popular just recently after being featured on TV. But it's already May! It's been a long time since January, when the restaurant first became popular. While standing in line, I was annoyed at various places and a little tired from this morning!
