A renowned obanzai restaurant nestled in a hidden gem

Located in a back alley of Shimbashi, "Iroha" is a beloved establishment known for its obanzai cuisine, cherished by its core fans. The joy of selecting from the seasonal obanzai displayed at the counter and the comforting, gentle flavors are its main attractions. The rice and miso soup are particularly exquisite, satisfying both the heart and body of those who visit. In the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, you can leisurely enjoy simple and healthy dishes, making it a true oasis in the city.

This is a Japanese-style shop located further back in a back alley, creating a calm atmosphere. You can choose from several daily side dishes, and the counter is filled with a variety of dishes that is exciting to see. There are also bento boxes available, with a rich lineup including grilled fish, stews, and fried foods, making it hard to decide. The fish is perfectly roasted and I was happy to receive it warm. You can help yourself to tea or coffee at the entrance, allowing for a nice break. The cozy interior has tables and a small counter, and it is run attentively by a couple, making it a comfortable place to be.
