We offer seasonal cuisine featuring carefully selected ingredients from various terroirs, updated every three months. In June, July, and August, we’ll be focusing on Chiba Prefecture. Just a short trip from the city center, this prefecture offers the perfect blend of the ocean, nature, history, and gourmet cuisine—ensuring a highly satisfying experience whether you’re visiting for the day or on a longer trip. Surrounded by the sea, Kujukuri Beach stretches for approximately 66 km, making it one of Japan’s longest sandy beaches. Surfing, scenic drives, and seafood cuisine are all popular here. Fishing is a thriving industry here, and Choshi Fishing Port is one of Japan’s largest, offering an abundance of fresh seafood—notably red-eyed snapper, tuna, and clams. Livestock farming is also thriving, making it one of Japan’s leading regions for livestock and dairy production. I am grateful to have met such wonderful producers during my travels, and I hope to convey the charm of Chiba Prefecture through my drawings. I hope you enjoy them.
