In a cozy space that feels like a hideaway, as you climb the stairs, the smiling owner in a kimono welcomes you. The large plates of side dishes lined up at the counter are all colorful, and just looking at them is exciting. The omakase course is well-balanced from appetizers to desserts, featuring gentle flavors centered around seasonal vegetables. The style of being able to choose your favorite vegetable dishes along the way is enjoyable, and the scallop gratin and sweet onion stew particularly left an impression. The curry made entirely from vegetables that comes at the end is rich in flavor, yet satisfying and easy to eat. It’s a wonderful place with a relaxed atmosphere that you wouldn’t expect in Ginza, where you can leisurely spend time with a variety of drinks in hand.
