Tokyo Nihonbashi A classic. Everyone loves this very popular Kaisen-don restaurant. I visited the restaurant 30 minutes before opening, but there was already a wait for one group. And soon there was a line. Lunch 9 kinds of seafood + more crab, sea urchin and salmon roe (Matsu) Sparkling from the outside! Very fresh and delicious. I added some tai dashi (sea bream soup stock) halfway through the dish, referring to the serving instructions on the table. Of course it was delicious, but personally, I prefer to eat kaisendon without changing the seasoning.

A regular negitoro bowl if you're not fooled by the upscale sushi restaurant interior? I finally made it there! Visited after 8:00 p.m. on a drizzly day, but there was a wait of about 10 people. The restaurant, with only a counter, was very clean and looked like a high-class ryotei restaurant (though I have never been there). Zetsuyu-don (ume: 990 yen) I had ordered while waiting in line, so I was served immediately after being seated. It was served vertically with various ingredients in the negitoro. The restaurant recommended pouring tai-dashi broth over the bowl after finishing it, but I dared to order with about 20% left over. I finished it with a slice of sea bream that looked like sesame sauce on top.

Kaisendon (bowl of rice topped with seafood) available at the end of the line even though it is a weekday. A bowl of rice topped with a hearty portion that will fill you up. The finishing dish, tai chazuke, is also delicious. About 20% of the customers are from overseas. The line was a bit long, and I gave the restaurant a 3.7!

I found a great bowl of rice! Nihonbashi "Tsujihan Zetsuyu-don plum rice bowl 990 yen We waited in line for an hour and a half to get in. When I took my seat, there was already a bowl of sea bream sashimi with soy sauce and sesame sauce on it. The bowl arrived in about 5 minutes. Tuna, crab, shrimp, shellfish, salmon roe, green onion, cucumber, etc. were chopped into small pieces and piled on top of the rice. It was delicious. The sweetness and umami are very strong. When you put the bowl on the counter, they serve you rice and soup stock. The bowl is served with rice and dashi broth, and then the sea bream with sesame sauce is topped with it. I was impressed by the broth. The flavor of the sea bream was concentrated in the broth. The yuzu (Japanese citron) flavor was also effective. I was very happy. It was worth the wait in line! Thank you for the food! We will be back!

8/27/2016 Alone. After a seminar on literacy. Matsu for ¥1980. waited about 30 minutes, but the bowl arrived shortly after entering the restaurant. Great cosmetics and good quality. Highly satisfied. It is very close to Tokyo station, so I would like to go there on a whim after hours.
