An adult hideaway that offers peace of mind

Hachimaki Okada is a special place where you can enjoy seasonal dishes in a quiet and calming atmosphere. Each delicately presented dish is exquisite, providing a moment to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life while dining. You can feel the pleasantness of losing track of time as the sake flows from the tokkuri to the choko. It's the perfect hideaway for those seeking a quiet time alone, designed for adults.

Hachimaki Okada" is a one-story Japanese restaurant located in an alley behind Matsuya Ginza, celebrating 100 years in business. The restaurant is famous for its monkfish hot pot, loved by many literary giants and political figures. When you enter the restaurant, you will find a large barrel of Kiku-Masamune and a black telephone. The nostalgia of a long-established restaurant with a sense of luxury. In the seats, a group of elegant gentlemen in fine clothes enjoying delicious food and drinks in an atmosphere that could almost be a movie. The monkfish nabe course includes sashimi, fu dengaku, an exquisite Okada bowl of soup with shredded leeks and chicken, and three kinds of grilled dish such as Japanese mullet roe and Spanish mackerel. The monkfish nabe course includes sashimi, a bowl of Okada tea soup with chicken and shiraganegi onion, three grilled dishes such as karasumi and spanish mackerel, and monkfish nabe, zosui, and mizugashi. The monkfish nabe is a traditional Edo cuisine with a thick soy sauce broth. The taste leaves a lingering aftertaste of long-established tradition. This is a famous restaurant in Ginza that makes me want to visit every year during the season of monkfish nabe.
