It is characterized by its low fat content and mellow red meat. Additionally, we provide fresh, high-quality Akagyu beef without intermediaries. The exquisite meat quality is achieved by feeding the cattle with 'beer lees.' Kousei Beef is unique in that it is fed 'beer lees' in addition to common feed such as grass and straw. The yeast contained in the beer lees activates the cattle's intestines, resulting in a healthy body and tender, high-quality meat. Vast and magnificent, Kousei Beef is raised in the expansive pastures of Aso. It is nurtured in the vast pastures, clean water, and mild climate of Kousei Farm located in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Kumamoto Prefecture boasts an optimal environment for grazing and is proud of its Akagyu production, accounting for about 10% of the national production.
