Opened in Tsukiji in 2009, it has continued to be loved by many people since then. It continues to provide fresh seafood from the Tsukiji area, becoming an essential presence for both locals and tourists. This restaurant, which walks alongside the history of Tsukiji, offers a special experience to those who visit.

The owner is Mr. Kuniba. Originally a company employee, Mr. Kuniba became involved in Tsukiji by taking over the shop his father had founded, and the two ran the shop together as his father taught him the ropes. At the time of the shop’s founding, rice bowls using sea urchin were almost nonexistent around Tokyo, and he says they struggled to attract customers. Overcoming that adversity, they developed the “Ganso Kobore Uni-don” (Original Overflowing Sea Urchin Bowl) into a Tsukiji specialty.
